Rolling with the Wheel

Created as a personal exploration into ceramics, this project reflects my ongoing effort to improve wheel-throwing technique and gain confidence with glaze application. Developed during my time learning at Atelier Spirale, this collection includes a variety of bowls, plates, and vessels, each thrown, trimmed, and glazed by hand.

I aimed to refine my wheel control while experimenting with functional forms and surface finishes. Earthy, green-toned, and white glazes unify the collection.

This experience helped me reconnect with hands-on making and material exploration. It increased my confidence on the wheel and deepened my appreciation for the technical and meditative aspects of crafting ceramics. The process also reminded me of the value of patience.
