Knit Dress and Puffer Parka
This project marked my introduction to CLO3D, where I learned the foundational digital pattern-making techniques. Through this hands-on exercise, I designed and simulated a winter knit sweater dress and a puffer parka, combining technical skill building with stylistic exploration.
The project's goal was to develop confidence and fluency in CLO3D’s tools while designing garments suitable for real-world applications. I focused on functional winter wear that is versatile and has a contemporary appeal. The exercise deepened my understanding of garment construction, textile simulation, and digital workflow optimization.
Sweater Dress:
The dress features a soft, high-neck silhouette with a subtle ruffle detail at the waistline. The stretch-knit look and tailored shape balance comfort and femininity, keeping you warm without sacrificing style. It is rendered in a heathered gray tone with winter layering in mind.
Puffer Parka:
This outerwear piece was developed with functionality and fun in mind. The jacket’s exterior features a versatile matte black, ideal for everyday wear, while the inner lining introduces a playful floral print, adding personality and surprise when worn open. These garments were modeled, fitted, and entirely rendered in CLO3D.
This project established the foundation for my digital fashion design skill set using industry-standard tools. Beyond technical knowledge, it taught me how digital workflows can facilitate rapid prototyping and sustainable, expressive apparel design.
