Bike Pack
This backpack was developed in a textile production course, based on a given design to streamline the drafting, cardstock modeling, and sewing processes. I took this opportunity to adjust the proportions and introduce functional features with my brother in mind, an urban high school student who bikes to school.
The final pack features a built-in laptop sleeve and is constructed from a durable, water-resistant fabric to protect its contents during commutes. I also incorporated a handy helmet strap.
This project allowed me to experiment with practical modifications and explore how intentional pattern adjustments and user-specific considerations can enhance the usability and relevance of soft goods design.
