Code of Conduct Course
Preview of the interactive e-learning module displayed on a laptop.
To make learning a company’s code of conduct more dynamic, I designed an interactive e-learning module based on Loblaw Companies Ltd.’s Code of Conduct. This project was completed as part of my Master’s in Educational Technology at Concordia University.
The assignment challenged us to transform a company’s existing Code of Conduct into an interactive learning experience. We were to use only the official materials from the selected organization’s website, without creating new content, and adhere to the company’s design style. The goal was to enhance engagement and comprehension through an interactive format using Articulate Storyline 360 or Rise.
I selected Loblaw Companies Limited as the project's focus, using the official Code of Conduct and relevant materials from Loblaw’s website.
For this project, I:
Created a detailed information architecture and storyboard to organize and plan the learner experience.
Developed the course using Articulate Storyline 360, marking my first complete project with the platform.
Incorporated visual design, interactive elements, and knowledge checks.
Conducted user testing with peers and refined the course based on their feedback before final delivery.
This project allowed me to apply instructional design principles to a real-world compliance training scenario while building hands-on experience with an industry-standard authoring tool.
