AI Job Aid and Infographic

As part of my Master’s in Educational Technology at Concordia University, I created a job aid and an infographic for AdventureSmart, a national outdoor education program. This project aimed to help instructional designers integrate artificial intelligence into their workflow.

The project required creating two practical learning resources, following AdventureSmart’s official visual style guide and ensuring brand consistency in both visual design and tone. I designed an infographic outlining the key applications of AI across each phase of the ADDIE process and a job aid demonstrating how to use Recraft AI to generate AdventureSmart-style illustrations for instructional content.

The infographic provides an overview of how AI tools can support instructional design efforts throughout all stages of ADDIE.

The job aid acts as a step-by-step reference for instructional designers who want to create on-brand illustrations using Recraft AI. It includes visual style parameters, tips on prompt structure, and suggestions for post-processing to ensure quality and consistency.

This project enhanced my skills in visual communication and responsible AI integration in learning design. It also improved my ability to transform technical processes into clear and accessible resources for a professional audience.
